Trabant is called one of the manufacturers VEB automobile factory Zwickau VEB Sachsenring Zwickau automobile produced small car with front wheel drive. The vehicle was built as a sedan, wagon and pickup. The "Trabit" cars were produced as two-strokes in the former Auto Union factory and are now considered as cult cars. After the reunification the vehicles could not compete in the market. Production ceased in 1991.
