Mahindra is another automobile manufacturer from India. The company was founded in 1945 by brothers Mahindra and the Pakistanis Ghulam Mohammed in Mumbai. Initially people traded with steel. 1954 Jeep models were built under license. Meanwhile Mahindra also produces buses, tractors and machine tools. Known models are the Mahindra Scorpio and the Mahindra Jeep CJ. Mahindra vehicles are now manufactured in Egypt and in Iran under license.
