In the period from 1939 to 1963 cars and trucks were produced successfully in Bremen under the name Borgward. The Bremer Kühlerfabrik Borgward & Co vehicle manufacturers produced after the takeover of Goliath and Hansa-Lloyd-Werke vehicles at a high technical level. After the Second World War the Hansa models Isabella and Arabella sedans and coupes were built. Also in motorsport one was successful. In 1960 the company got into trouble and was forced to declare bankruptcy in 1961. Numerous attempts to obtain the vehicle production, failed. The works were taken over by Mercedes Benz. SPACCER is suitable for all Borgward cars and the vehicles are given more ground clearance.
