From the Rapp Engine Works founded in 1913, the Bavarian Motor Works (BMW) were emanated in 1916. First very successful engines were made for airplanes and zeppelins. After the First World War the building of these engines was forbidden by the victorious powers. That' s why it was decided to manufacture automobiles and motorcycles. BMW bought the vehicle factory in Eisenach, which was adopted after the Second World War by the Soviet occupying power. Also the main factory in Munich was completely destroyed by the effects of war. After the reconstruction the building of the Isetta and glass small cars led to an existence-threatening crisis. Only in the period 1970-1993 BMW rose to become successful premium manufacturer. Later acquisitions were made by Rolls-Royce and the British Rover Group, which only the Mini is remained. SPACCER is suitable for all BMW vehicles and gives them a sporty off-road look.
