With the Bio-Auto Lina, a vehicle was presented in 2017 that consists only of bio-based materials and has a comparatively very low weight of around 310 kg without batteries. Behind it is the Dutch team TU/ecomotive. The vehicle, measuring 350 x 130 x 140 cm, not only consumes far less energy than conventional electric cars, but can also be biologically degraded. Despite everything, it is not intended for series production.
