Askam is a manufacturer of trucks and light commercial vehicles. The company was founded in 1962 in Istanbul as a joint venture with Chrysler. 1964 the production started of trucks under the name of Fargo, DeSoto and Dodge. Most trucks used Perkins diesel engines, other parts were supplied by Chrysler. 1978 Chrysler sold its shares to the local partner. Currently Askam produces heavy and light trucks and pickups in their own style. SPACCER offers a Car Higherlifting Kit for all models of Askam (Fargo / Desoto). This gives the vehicle more ground clearance.
